Sorry it took a while to get this up, but here it is.
Felix was annoyed. He had just realized he was in love and had really, truly accepted who he was and no sooner had someone knocked on the door. "It never fails," he told himself, "The very second I'm done with someone and just trying to relax, when someone chooses to show up on our doorstep." He grumbled as he slowly got dressed and answered the door. He was surprised and frightened at what he saw.
"Who is it?" chimed Ray from the living room. The man at the door said nothing, but kept the pistol he was holding pointing squarely at Felix's chest. "Er, n-nobody, Ray, j-just the mailman," Felix said, trying to formulate a plan. Ray slowly walked to the point where he could see the door, and quickly ducked out of sight. He had to call 9-1-1! But if he did, would the man shoot Felix? He didn't know what to do.
"Do not move, faggot." The man's voice was gravelly and had a slightly southern accent. "If you call 9-1-1, I will shoot you. If you don't, I will shoot you. The Lord has entrusted me with a holy task to kill all who would sin against God. This is nothing personal. Goodbye, Ray Toren," he said as he cocked his gun. Felix saw a ray of hope. "He doesn't know that I'm Ray's boyfriend!" Felix thought, realizing that he could buy himself some time.
Ray scrambled to the living room. He quickly considered the options. He could go out the fire escape, but then he would have abandoned Felix, and he couldn't do that to his lover. He could call 9-1-1, but then the man would still kill Felix. He could try to defend Felix, but then the man would most likely kill them both. Ray quickly made his decision. He picked up the phone and began to dial.
Felix was beginning to calm down. His plan wasn't great, but this man must have been spying on Ray to know that he lived here. That would mean that he would have to check the apartment records. That would mean that he would have checked and saw Felix's name and occupation, from when he came and told the apartment management that he was moving in with Ray. "So, does anyone live here with me?" Felix asked, frvently hoping for a... "Why, yes, your faggot detective boyfriend, Felix Aimes," the man answered. "Bingo, sir. And you are arrested," Felix said pulling out a pair of handcuffs and cuffing the man's hands before he could react.
"What is the meaning of this!" the man said, infuriated. He had only been trying to do the Lord's work, and he had been stopped by a faggot detective. "The meaning? Why, you're being arrested for attempted murder!" Felix said, and after checking the man's pockets and finding his ID and gun license, as well as a book marking off gays in the city that he had already killed, "Oh, and illegal possesion of a weapon, and theft, and murder in the first degree. Now should I read you your rights?"
