Pride Story

Felix woke up the next morning feeling satisfied. The sex he had last night was the best he had ever had, definitely surpassing that of his wife. Speaking of which, Felix remembered that the divorce battle had finally ended over the past week. He was officially separated from his ex-wife. "Thank god I'm finally free from that bitch," he thought, although he was going to miss his old house.

Ray woke up with Felix's arms still wrapped around his muscled frame, his black hair spilling over into Ray's tousled brown locks. "Morning, sunshine," Felix said cheerfully, giving him a quick kiss. "Morning," Ray replied, rolling out of bed into the kitchen. "What do you want for breakfast?" Ray asked. "You can cook?" Felix asked from the bedroom. "No," Ray replied. They both laughed.

One burnt omelette, two spilled coffee mugs, and lots of laughter later, Ray and Felix finally sat down at the breakfast table with a bowl of cereal each. After making some small talk, Ray finally got the the matter that was on his mind. "So, last night..." "...was amazing?" Felix finished for him. "Yes, but there's something I want to ask you. When you said that you loved me last night, did you...mean it?" Ray asked. Felix knew that this was a touchy subject, but he couldn't tell what he should say. After a long silence, he said,"I may be asking for trouble right here, but... y-yes." After another long silence, Ray said, "Me too."

As soon as Ray said that, Felix was over the moon. He couldn't believe that he had fallen in love with someone and that he loved him back. Felix pulled Ray into a passionate embrace then and there, kissing him as if there would be no tomorrow. Hey, he was in love. What more can be said?
