Love Poems
A storm embraced
the buildings along
my view of the city.
I rushed to a friend's
arrival at the airport.
My denim jeans
and jacket were soaked
by the wind and rain
that whipped me.
Inside the cab,
a Celtic voice told me
not to weep for a lost
love, so I held my breath.
My heart grew cold, turned
into a wet asphalt
