Pride Story

Im confused, i come from a small town where everyone knows everyone. I have always known i was attracted to men- but just recently came to terms that i was gay. I have fantasized about some of the guys in school, how cant you when you in "the mood". Anyway well there's this one kid, a good friend of mine, who is a total hunk. He is tall, blonde, fit and the most beautiful blue eyes. Well i had a crush on him for while and then finally gave up, deciding to wait until college to find a guy (im a senior in HS). Last New Years we had a party at his house, well towards morning this guy (i'll call him kyle) and myself decided to wathc some youtube. Well we giot on the internet and when he was searching for the site i noticed in his history there was a gay porn site i was familier with. He hadnt noticed, so while we watched some vids i was in silent shock. Ever since then i have been confsed and wondering if i should ask if he's gay. He says he a very homphobic guy (or seems to be around other guys) but i have talked to him personally and he is a very sensitive and cares alot about the stuff i care about- stuff i wouldnt think most straight guys would. Should i confront him? Its hard because im kind of a popular guy in school and alot of people come to me for help, im a nice guy, but i dont want to lose a friend for asking him this? What to do???
