Its hard for me to write using first person, so bare with me as I try 3rd..

It was a monday when carlos told his mom he was gay. It was the hardest thing ever.... Here is how it happened

Carlos, 19 years old at the time, was going to school, so he drove his mothers car. In return he had to pick his mother up from work.
Now carlos has always been certain that he was gay, even though he had girlfriends in his past life. After his junior year in high school, he knew for sure and wanted to tell others, but couldn't find the words. So on his Myspace page, he put his sexuality as unsure, that soon changed to bi, as he thought about things. Then at the end of senior year after only two of his friends knowing he switched his sexuality to gay, hoping someone would see it on his page. Unfortunately his plan was dumb! Cause no one bothered looking/ or at least they weren't saying anything. Untill almost a year later.
Carlos got a call from his mother, she told him..."I will be ready by 3:30 don't be late!" So carlos went to get his mother, and while driving back home, they were talking about going to the movies, when all of a sudden she says..."So your myspace says that you are gay?" Carlos in reaction to that statement swerves the car, almost hitting another. She then says..."Calm down its just a question, are you...?" Carlos takes a deep breath and replies..."Yes......yes I am."It was silent for a while. Then she says..." I've known of course for sometime now, its like I've been waiting for you. But you know it is a sin, but you are my son and I will love you no matter." Carlos while driving is crying, and having a semi panic attack! He pulled over and finished, he told his mom..." I think I've known that you were curious, cause you went through my phone and saw the messages, not to mention all the jokes. You are the first in the family to know so I'd like to keep it that way for now..." She said of course. They drive home and they don't mention it again. The next day, Carlos's brother came over to the house, Carlos was on his laptop, his brother Ramon was on the pc. Ramon had previsously sent carlos a friend request on myspace, so carlos accepted it. Now ramon checking out his brothers page for the first time, notices that it says gay for sexualatiy. While on their seperate computers, less than 15 feet away from eachother, ramon says.."We need to talk.." About what says carlos.." About your myspace" replies ramon. Carlos getting nervous, preparing himself for what's to come, says" what about it.... My sexuality I'm guessing..." Ramon says "yeah..is it true, is my bro really a faggo..." He cuts himself off, and says "gay". Carlos says " its okay, I'm used to people saying that word when talking about me, but yes I am gay, mommy knows since yesterday, how are you. Are you mad..." Ramon replies, to carlos's shock," no, I think I've known, ever since I heard you talkig to sam, your friend". But ramon took it quite well, it was the grandma that made carlos more nervous than anything, and that story will come soon........
