Since there was good feedback to Proven Guilty, I decided to do another fiction series. Hope everyone likes it!

"Hiking is hard." I came to that conclusion after spending a week hiking towards the mountain that our small group of eight men were to climb. But I'm getting ahead of myself. My name is Erik Forrester, a lawyer and avid rock climber in my spare time. I have a girlfriend - or rather, HAD a girlfriend.

Anyway, we had been hiking for a week. Now, it's not t
